Skins, sounds and the two Swarmcore currencies

Yellow is earned; purple is Prisms

Use the currency name as well as the colour when reading a price. Hover or focus the wallet controls to read their explanations. Where an item offers a Prism alternative, it is a shortcut for that cosmetic purchase, not extra weapon damage.

Preview first, then equip

  1. Open the collection from the swarm, mutation or shot preview controls.
  2. Select a skin, flag or shot appearance to inspect it. A preview can show an item you do not own.
  3. If it is locked, check the item’s named currency and price before buying. If it is owned, use Equip.
  4. Look for Equipped and return to the main preview to check the saved look.

Different slots have different jobs. The swarm skin changes the swarm’s identity; trails follow movement; core effects sit around the centre; shot appearances change the fired pulse; bursts style core-destruction effects; frames, banners and emotes personalise other parts of the presentation. A shot’s appearance and its sound are separate choices.

Sounds you can choose without paying

The current library contains 10 free shot sounds and 8 free music tracks. Try the sound preview in Shots before equipping it. A dramatic name is a sound style, not a stronger weapon.

Free shot sounds: Core Pulse, Plasma Blaster, Siege Cannon, Dragonfire, Quack Cannon, Ion Spear, Arcane Volley, Ricochet Coil, Mech Burst, Void Howl.

Music: Rift Rush (154 BPM), Neon Chase (166 BPM), Core Drive (150 BPM), Pixel Sprint (174 BPM), Cosmic Bounce (142 BPM), Laser Carnival (160 BPM), Night Orbit (138 BPM), Hyper Swarm (180 BPM).

Settings separates music, shot sounds and game effects. You can keep useful effects while turning music off, or silence shots while keeping a music track. If everything is silent, check the master sound setting and the browser tab’s mute state as well.

Unlockable sound collection

These sounds can be earned with yellow Core Shards. The prices below come from the same sound catalogue used by the shop.

For example, Nebula Cat and Plasma Pig are cosmetic sound choices. Unlocking one does not change your hit damage, cooldown or evolution options.

Keep the collection when switching devices

A guest’s browser session is not the same as a recoverable account. Use the optional Swarm ID if you want to sign in on another device. Keep the recovery code private, and do not put it into a feedback message. If a purchase does not appear, contact info@desigame.eu with the checkout reference, not card details.
