Short answers for players, parents, reviewers and anyone checking how Swarmcore works before playing.
Is Swarmcore free?
Yes. Swarmcore can be played free in a modern browser. Optional cosmetics and Prism packs may support the project when checkout is enabled, but they do not buy stronger weapons, better mutations or competitive advantages.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to try the game. A guest session can play locally. Optional Swarm ID accounts save cosmetics, balances and statistics across devices. Keep recovery information private; DESIGAME support will never ask for a password.
Are the opponents real players?
Live multiplayer can include real players and clearly labelled AI fill. Endless is real players only and does not add bots. Practice and Daily challenge use AI. Private rooms are invite-based and can use AI fill depending on the room settings.
Why did I not receive Core Shards?
Only eligible ranked Live multiplayer results award Core Shards. Practice, Daily, Endless, private rooms, Solo Lab and very short or unfinished runs are not treated as ranked reward results. Let the result screen finish saving before closing the tab.
What data does the game store?
The privacy policy explains guest sessions, optional accounts, local settings, realtime room state, feedback and purchases. There is no player chat, no camera or microphone access, and no ChatGPT login. See Privacy Policy for the full details.
Where do ads appear?
Ads are intended to appear beside real publisher content such as the landing page or explanatory pages, not on blank loading screens or inside the active arena. If advertising or the required consent setup is disabled, the site shows a non-tracking placeholder instead of loading Google advertising code.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Mobile play uses touch controls: movement on the left and ARC aiming/charging on the right. Landscape orientation usually gives more room. For detailed controls, read How to Play.
How do I report a problem?
Use Send feedback inside the game or email info@desigame.eu. Include the device, browser, game mode, approximate time and what happened. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or payment-card information.
